Throughout the text, Moody articulates the psychological and practical implications of grace for believers, aiming to show how it transforms lives and encourages a deep faith in God." "The opening of the book introduces readers to the fundamental premise of grace, asserting its role as unearned favor from God. Moody references scripture, particularly the New Testament, to illuminate how grace is a constant theme throughout the Bible—starting from the creation narrative to the New Testament teachings of Jesus. He underscores that grace is a free gift from God, essential for salvation, and urges readers to seek a deeper understanding and personal experience of this grace. By doing so, he sets the stage for exploring various dimensions of grace in subsequent chapters, offering insights into how it influences both spiritual life and service to others."
